How can I reduce material waste in production?

A large proportion of the actual waste wood material is further processed as LVL and plywood core layers in order to be able to continue producing successfully even at the current very high wood prices.

The new KUPER CVX line - creates sustainable added value.

High-performance unit: Clipper plus center layer composing machine. LVL and plywood core layers are produced with the KUPER veneer clipper and the KUPER CVX splicer.

How it works:

In one production line, operated by just one person, parallel cutting, composition, format cutting and stacking take place. The peeled veneer strips are first automatically optimized and cut parallel in the clipper on the front and rear edges, taking into account natural defects such as knotholes or cracks. This maximum amount of usable material is then transported directly to the KUPER CVX assembly station. Here, the strips are assembled with the KUPER glue strands, trimmed to the finished format and depositedefficiently and gently.

Advantages:

  • Very robust and powerful system
  • Robust high-performance shearing system
  • Maximum material yield
  • Optimum handling of the stable veneers in the subsequent process steps
